What Kyle said. I asked a Long EZ pilot the same thing. To answer the other OP question, when I watched the guy load up he got in it and then it raised.

The owner has had it listed for a long time and I wondered why he would use a picture that (unless you know better) looks like the gear collapsed and it had damage. It was just confusing to me.

They’re awesome. They always have one at OshkoshI would like to see more about the twin velocity, but it seems pretty rare.
Nosewheel on this one doesn't retract when parked.
Or walk up underneath the last surviving one... It was still leaking hydraulic fluid last time I took the tour.One doesn't realize how big the Valk was until you see people/vehicles around it.
