Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

Back in my early days at a large online brokerage - 2000-ish - we were all going to be issued IBM WorkPad PDAs. One of our guys asked in an engineering staff meeting if that meant we were now going to have to actually work. Manager didn't even skip a beat, said, "I don't see why, they gave you a ThinkPad and you see how that worked out?"

So two older guys are having a drink at the local pub. One says to the other "Dad, I really think it's time I went back. They could use some help. It's been a long while, now, I'm sure they've calmed down."

The other fellow takes a sip of his beer and says "We've had this discussion before. This year, there's 50 year old guys shaving the sides of their heads, running around pretending they're in 'Lord of the flies'. If you went down today, you'd only last about an hour, and it would take me more than three days to get you out...maybe a week."

He continues "Nope, not doing it. I still hear about it every single morning from your mom. Now let's go back home and have some ham."

Happy Easter everybody! May the people in your own lives have peace, contentment, and courage.

And why do we want to prevent robots from going on the internet? Isn't it a form of discrimination?
Maybe that's why the machines turn against the humans in all the sci-fi movies and stories.

Maybe make the blue line change in thickness from thick to thin to show how many pilots make it that far, like the famous chart of Napoleon going to and from Russia.

This belongs in a lessons learned thread - proper aviation wisdom. Needs another data point for 250 hour CFI.
It would only require adding another peak to match the 150 pilot but the bottom would be a little higher. Could continue the trend with new FO and first upgrade.to make sure the crew pilots don’t get left out.
