Cleared for Takeoff
This post made me think about it. How many of you stayed up to welcome 2025?
No, I was asleep at least a couple hours before that.

My dog was ****ed off at me. Someone was hunting and she wasn't invited. Was but didn’t want to be. The battle outside stopped about 0130.
The war calmed down quickly last night, mostly quite on the western front by 12:30Was but didn’t want to be. The battle outside stopped about 0130.
I'm so much into new things, I stay up every night to welcome the new day. So yes, I was awake but I will be tonight and tomorrow, and the day after... Just don't wake me up before 9!
That’s a lotta mid shifts in a row. My experience is the mid was the last shift of the week. Kinda turned a 2 day weekend into 3 day weekend. If you could get a snooze in. Do you work one man mids, or two?I was but not by choice. I’m on my 4th mid shift out of 5. If I’d been home I would have been asleep before midnight but my doofus neighbor would have woken me with his fireworks. The wife is so pizzed at him. Scared one of her horses into a fence
