United CEO says it's passenger's fault regarding seat pitch

Never had a bad experience with BA but Heathrow is a real nightmare!

The airline market is very efficient. The reality is that most consumers will not go past the fist page of an internet search for an airline ticket. So when your fare pushes you past the first page, you've lost customers. The industry has tried several things to improve passenger comfort, all of which have been busts. Time will tell if economy plus will stay around.

This is a big one.. but I also look at time in transit.. nonstop versus stopover versus connection.

I'm not going to save 30-50 dollars each way by taking the grand tour of the US and making 3 connections. Time is money to me.

I've also realized that while I might FIND a fare on Expedia or some other aggregator, I will always book it direct with the airline, with one of their frequent flier accounts. I find the fares equivalent and overall experience to be better-ish..

Sucks technology and distance prevent flying yourself coast to coast in two hours.
Perhaps in the far flung future.
Seats suck yes, but you know what, pressing my face to a window where inches away is effectively Mars and instant death...
I think people may protest too much and take it ALL far too much for granted.
It's the humiliating TSA treatment that I loathe. I stand there waiting for that and think I don't care how many nuclear bombs need to be dropped to end this. LOL
