Been snowing in San Antonio since about 5:00pm.

About 1.5” in the back yard. And I thought I’d never again see it snow enough to accumulate when I left CO last year.

Record here is 13.5” in 1985. Don’t think we’ll break that, but there’s more moisture coming tonight. Last time it snowed here was in 2012 and that was a trace.

Supposed to start here in the Central Alabama area around 3am, forecast is an inch or so.

Daughter says it's a wine, and stay at home cooke making night. :)

Climate change is a myth. Now you have some snowy proof of the mythical myth. ;)

In Alaska we called them whiskey fronts.

Can't fly so stay at home and drink whiskey.....

Cold and clear skies here in NM, expecting single digit temps. Might be a good night to make tricycle motors....

clear and 34 here tonight, still a night to drink whiskey

A stones throw from Hell. Acton, CA. Yeah, that's near Los Angeles. Luckily upwind of the inferno but the toothbrush and a change of skivies are packed and ready.

Yesterday was our snow day. We get 0-3 of them per year, and yesterday was a doozy.
Horizontal snow all day long, I shoveled the public walkway 6x as the wind kept drifting it over.
Now it is down to 16°F and wife just (2:30am) left on an ambulance call for a 180 mile drive on highways TxDOT says are "heavy snow with black ice on bridges".

I am a ways south of you. We had flakes coming down last night. Nothing has stuck.

We were only suppose to have a 30 % chance of snow here today. Yeah, it's been snowing all night.

2-3" and still coming down here in Birmingham AL area. Supposed to snow all day.

I didn't think it would stick in Austin, the temps didn't seem low enough, but we have a light dusting on the yard :)

Got some coming down in the ATL, but it's above freezing and melts when it touches pavement, There's a little accumulation on the grass and mulch.

You guys keep that crap down there,, it's clear and cold, (27) this morning.

now you can have a lesson in how to clean it off your A/C :)

It'll be gone as soon as it turns a little warmer, right at freezing here now.

Crystal clear this morning, as it was all last night. Low at my house was 6. But that is Ok, the high is forecasted to be 48.

More of the same for next week, single digit lows and upper 40s to lower 50s with bright blue skies all day.

Supposed to be high of 41* this afternoon so it'll be gone.

The hot tub is looking inviting...

Still coming down pretty good.

A tip of the hat to your wife, and everyone else who answers the call at such uncivilized hours and in atrocious conditions to go out help others! I hope she's back home safe.

Just got this from FEMA:

Advisory

Lakewood Hwy (GA 60) between Mineral Bluff and GA 515 is temporarily closed due to accidents and stranded motorists. This section of roadway is impassible due to snow and ice.

We live off 60, so we’re homing in today.

There's a little bit sticking to the roads now, and traffic is BAD.

Both daughters are in their car, and are trying to wend their way home. There are a few accidents in the area.

I'm not sure which one's driving. Daughter #2 got her actual license yesterday.

I wish we got weather in Phoenix. It hasn’t rained at my house in 5 months! I wouldn’t mind living somewhere that got some rain for a change.

I went to school in Flagstaff, AZ and I loved the snow and rain. Very refreshing.

Snowing here now, sticking to the grass. Schools let out at 1pm, traffic snarled.

What a mess. No power...knew I should've bought that generator. Gonna suck driving to work tonight. :(

Can't get one of your coworkers to land and pick you up? :D

You can bet they're sitting around watching TV with the aircraft in the hangar. Pretty much what I'll be doing tonight unless this vis/ ceiling lifts. Doubtful.

Just tell the bosses that working from home is the new ‘thing’ and you’ll be doing it tonight.

Actually was hoping they'd call and say not to come in. Not showing up to work in the EMS community is kinda frowned upon though.
