Aren’t they still planning to use Oct remnants for an extra set of passes over the Fl Panhandle areas that were damaged in the hurricane? I thought there was a concern that the flooding diluted the August deposits.
 
The thing I can't figure out is, how come we are aware of all this? I thought the chemicals were supposed to block all awareness of the program. :dunno:
 
Sort of off-topic, but what do you guys do to protect your families and maybe close friends? I know all the rules and the 'No One is Spared' mandate, but I confess to accessing the tracks for my home - and the wife and kids wear their PAPR (powered air purifying respirator with charcoal canisters) during the critical times. Please let's not devolve this conversation into who deserves to be spared for future procreation - let's face it, many of us are protecting our families. What is best?

Remember - the chemicals have to be activated by the fluoride in your water or toothpaste. I put in a well so our water is pure, and we just use baking soda for brushing our teeth.

No need to over complicate things when there’s a simple solution.

Oh! And don’t forget to spray your house with vinegar!

I am thinking about upgrading my 182p with wing tip tanks to increase my spray capacity and hopefully run enough volume to earn my patch...any of you reach that level or is it a pipe dream for a small time GA operator?

Heck, for us Sport pilots in LSAs it’s not even a pipe dream. We usually fly formation flights of 4 or more.

Wait. But I'm spraying November's in Alaska soon.... And I don't have any leftover?!?!

Half Fast said to use the -B instead of the -A. IIRC, we're to use dry Nitrogen on the -B, and Aviation/Welder's O2 for the -A. We've nearly run out of Aviator's Breathing Oxygen in Alaska since it is end of season. Can I use Medical O2? Or does that chemical mix in that oxygen cause the a reaction much like the rash breakout of 1998?

The medical O2 won’t degrade the ozone layer and raise surface temps as effectively. I would avoid it. We are running behind with our global warming goals as it is.

FEMA uses the leftovers in the camp. They don't care about expiration dates with those poor bastards.

The control group has to get the placebo for 18 continuous months. Don’t be discouraged; your flights are vital to verification and validation.
 
Friend of mine who is a chemical engineer told me if you mix 5 parts MindControl with one part urine you get a much more potent formula. Something about the dissolved ions in urine causing some sort of chemical reaction.

I am filing IFR through the ADIZ in DC to start my first spraying with this new formula.

As far as most of us are concerned, you can omit the chemical and just spray the urine.....

If you have the one with the Garmin control unit you may be out of luck. They just discontinued parts and support. It's a PITA to reconfigure for the B-K system.

"Mother" will pay for it, of course, but you'll be AOG for awhile. :(
 
Is it really OK to add a little Prist to the sterilization mix? I have the wide nozzles now, but not the heated diffusers. DC can get pretty cold, and I'm disbursing mostly at night this winter. . .

Or some MMO. It's like EVOO but with more dissolved Hg2Fl2 for extra freeze buffer. Kinda like the Zn cloud seeding slurry, but with more aromatic phynols, like benzene.

Who is going for the extra stipend for the Monday/Tuesday coverage? I think the maintenance bonu$ will have me up for 4hours alone.

The bonus for AZ, FL and the other toss-up states is amazing.
