Am I the only one who saw this and thought "I didn't know there was both KFC and McDonald's in England or some other country that was still one of their colonies when cars were invented"?
Uh, yeah. I think you were the only one.Am I the only one who saw this and thought "I didn't know there was both KFC and McDonald's in England or some other country that was still one of their colonies when cars were invented"?
It was the kernel himself.
At least the F-22 can be flown single pilot.Yeah, good point. Probably not the best gift for @SkyChaser this year. Maybe something smaller, like an F22.
In the weapons bay.But where will the car seat go?View attachment 147760

The masked burglar broke into the closed Virginia liquor store early on Saturday and hit the bottom shelf, where the scotch and whisky were stored. The bandit was something of a nocturnal menace: bottles were smashed, a ceiling tile collapsed and alcohol pooled on the floor.
The suspect acted like an animal because, in fact, he’s a raccoon.
On Saturday morning, an employee at the Ashland, Virginia-area liquor store found the trash panda passed out on the bathroom floor at the end of his drunken escapade.
“I personally like raccoons,” said Samantha Martin, an officer who works at the local animal control. “They are funny little critters. He fell through one of the ceiling tiles and went on a full-blown rampage, drinking everything.”
Martin said she took the raccoon back to the animal shelter, though she had her fair share of giggles along the way.
“Another day in the life of an animal control officer, I guess,” she said.
The Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter commended Martin for handling the break-in, and confirmed the raccoon had sobered up.
“After a few hours of sleep and zero signs of injury (other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices), he was safely released back to the wild, hopefully having learned that breaking and entering is not the answer,” the agency said.

The photo evidence from the article, which many of us can probably relate to after a night of hitting the bottom shelf liquor too hard....

I'm not sure if I've told this story on here, but on my last house property I had two small grain bins. When I bought the place, I looked at one and decided they weren't in good enough shape to use. A couple years later, I bumped into the other one with the lawn mower, and it didn't make a noise like an empty bin. It was 2/3 full of soybeans. Near as we could find out, the bin had been filled two owners ago and had been sitting there for at least 10 years. When I climbed in the top, the beans were all eaten up by mold, so I figured they were garbage. I worked out a plan with the elevator to dispose of them. Lo and behold, when I opened the bottom door, they came out perfect. Wound up being about 1500 bushels of good beans. At $10/bushel, that little windfall payed for my private pilot training and then some. Wouldn't have been able to spend the money otherwise at the time.
