Drone above my property several times

While I wouldn't condone using a laser against it, if it's close enough, there are some really powerful flashlights/spotlights that might get the message across.

I'm with the others. Looks like it might be a helicopter light that's not down close to your home at all, it may have just seemed like it. The VAST number of so called "drone sightings" in the NJ area were NOT drones at all. They were planes, sometimes very large commercial planes that because of the angle, people thought they were little drones near them.

So unless it comes down and starts looking in your windows, there is not much you can do.

For the last week or two we have a drone about of our property when we point at it or go to take a video it moves away. How do you find out what this is who it is and how to stop it thank you.
Do you not own a shotgun?

If they would fly over my place it would save the money I spend on goose hunting in Canada every year. Shooting from the comfort of my pool deck would be cheaper and in the comfort of my own home.

Probably shouldn't advise people to commit federal crimes!!
Judging from the technobabble word salads on that website, I suspect the only crime is by the person taking money for the so-called "jammers". As P.T. Barnum said...

Good troll radar! I missed this one. I must be slipping.

I've never seen a drone that had light(s) that powerful, nor one with ADS-B (which is specifically banned from all except for very large ones - e.g. approximately ultralight size or larger)

You have more faith in humanity than me.

Exhibit A is the video @Roller posted
Ok. I suppose someone could have posted a drone is bothering me post on some forum, and somebody replied with a picture of a gun and this guy saw it and that's what gave him the idea to shoot it. I'll delete it.

Going with this

Drone controls run on wifi frequencies. So if you jam drones over your property, you will jam your own wifi.

That said, many drones are programmable, so they fly a route and do things and return without any outside control. So to stop that, you would need to jam GPS. And that will get people's attention.

Be nice to just take control of it and fly it to your house. When the police come give them the excuse that we used to give our mom when we came home with a new puppy ... "it followed me home, can I keep it?" ;)

Don't do that. It was hilarious. People need to lighten the F up.
Drone operators who are doing their best to be legal, safe, and professional might disagree. Too many people have meant it when they threatened to shoot down drones for it to be *that* funny.

What are the right of way rules if launch my drone is launched and surveying my property while a Drone decides to make a practice delivery?

My drone has the required drone ID, pretty sure it isn't watching for other drones. Is the delivery drone monitoring my drone ID? If I get to close does it have to leave?

Part § 107.37 says you have to yield the right of way. But so does the other operator. Even with a BVLOS waiver, the operator is still required to stay clear of all other aircraft.

Nah. I almost made the same joke. I just think some people are too stupid to know it was a joke.

Retiree who shot Walmart delivery drone to make it ‘shoo off’ takes plea deal

The defendant stated he had past experience with drones and believed they were surveilling him.

“Therefore, he walks into his house, opened his gun safe, acquired his (Sig Sauer) 9mm pistol, went back to the pool pump, racked the firearm to chamber a round, aimed into the sky to acquire the drone, and shot one time”.

Well, that was dumb. A 12 gauge with a cylinder choke would have been a much better choice.

A Florida Man near me was arrested for throwing a live alligator into a Wendy's drive thru window. I suppose we should not joke about throwing reptiles at people also, lest someone replicate the feat.
Reached for comment, the drive through employee said that he had told Florida Man several times, “Sir, this is a Wendy’s.”

When reptiles are outlawed only outlaws will have reptiles . . . Or was that "Florida Man"?

Either that or the drone was testing the beta paranoia chemtrail spray before the bigs take it nation wide. I hear some people react strongly to it, others not at all.

They could have been picked up by the black helicopters / SUVs for evaluation testing?
