Beautiful; tell us more!
Damn, sorry to hear that. That photo was at 9000. We came back north at 6000, departing about noon. Weather was pretty benign at that time. There was some nasty stuff to the east, but it was a ways away and moving that direction.Jim, at what altitude was this photo taken? I ask because a friend lost his life just south of Franklin in a BE 35 at 1:00 pm cst today. Track appears that he initiated a climb from 7000’ to 9000’ then all went to hell and the aircraft suffered an inflight break-up. Looks like a small TS was building at his location and perhaps he tried to top it unsuccessfully. Reportedly he, and two passengers, were enroute to KLOU.
Lorraine's is now the only show in town, outside the "Four Brother's" which is take-away and outside dining only. 3W3 ALWAYS a fun place to land and stroll down to the Kentmor Crab House!Where did you go? Tried Lorraine's a while back, but I think the crabcakes at 3W3 are better.
Mt. Vernon where? what state?Flew into Mount Vernon this morning for breakfast.
