I would still be happy to fly under the sport pilot rules. It's just like all wannabe sport pilots, not a lot of flight schools do sport pilot training nor have a LSA available for sport pilot training. Maybe Congress should push for legislation to make more flight schools include sport pilot...

Just curious, but now that 3rd class medical reform has passed, is it possible that AOPA and EAA could try to include their original 2012 medical petition (Day VFR, 180 HP, etc) into legislation? Something like a middle level between the Sport Pilot DL medical and PBOR2?

This medical reform legislation is a good start, but I hope AOPA does not say that their work is done. This is only the beginning and I hope that some years down the road AOPA would be pushing for a drivers license medical standard like what was written in the original PBOR2/GAPPA.

Well I guess what I meant to say that a job that is related to aviation would be anything that directly involves or affects the operation of aviation. Other jobs in the airports or for airlines are just overhead or support jobs probably.

For me, I would consider ticket counter personnel an aviation job. They work for the airline.

Thanks for the response everyone! In aviation, there is no room for error, so I'm not sure that if you made a big mistake during your career in aviation you would get back up on your feet and learn from it, or if your career would end all of a sudden.
