Great video, wish her luck in the future.

That tugged at my heartstrings...I think one of them snapped!

You go, girl. :D:D

By the time she's ready to fly for the airlines, they'll all be pilotless. :D

Love that video. I saw it a while back, I'm surprised it hasn't made it's way here until now. She certainly seems to have what it takes.

Please, for the love of God, nobody tell her about POA. A few hours here will put her off flying for sure.

We need a separate kids section on POA...so we can zap all that optimism right out of them! :D

I thought POA was a kid's site.

Best of luck to her. Looks like she has her parents' support. Hope she makes it.

But UPS?!! Heck, even their name spells "Oops."

Yeah, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders and with strong backing from family, I'm sure she'll make it. When you get the bug that early it can become more than just a passing fad. Hopefully she stays goal oriented and never loses sight of the prize.

12 year captain making +300k/year. I wouldn't mind that "oops" :)

I think this sort of thing is really cool.

And it stands for Ugly Paint Scheme.
Brown
The brown color that UPS uses on its vehicles and uniforms is called Pullman Brown. Company founder James E. Casey originally wanted company vehicles to use a yellow paint scheme, but one of his partners, Charlie Soderstrom, stated that a yellow vehicle would be hard to keep clean and that Pullman railroad cars were brown for just that reason

For that matter they should be able to deliver my packages on time and in one piece. Only delivery service I've had more trouble with is the USPS.

They just fly the plane man. :)

Interesting.

Still ugly.

All the parcel carriers are just as good and bad as each other. None of the national/international guys stand out in any direction.

Louisville is damned good place to be located if she wants to fly.

Big pilot population in the area due to UPS, and FedEx isn't far away, either.

Heck of a heart in that girl.

And what a great job for that pilot to honor her heart with an offer like that.
I hope they both are able to see it through.
