Wall off Canada, eh?

Keep Hockey Canadian!

OH-MY-GOD!!! I can't believe this is even a thing! ....Then again, with the wacky field of presidential hopefuls, from "The Donald", to the queen of "Travelgate", "Whitewater-gate", "Benghazi-gate", and now "email-gate"...... what a messed up stupid thing American politics has become!

I refuse to play! I vote NONE OF THE ABOVE!

It appears that Walker never said anything close to building a wall for the northern border.

So here's a question for everyone...do you feel angry at the liberal news feeds who told you lies about a candidate or do you not care because everyone does it?

Walker can see Canada from his back yard!

You've been suckered by the MSM. Typical.

Figured Stan would be along to support his fellow Koch owned, Tea Party pandering cheese-head.....

Its all a freak show with the MSM playing carnival barker. Ever since the loss of the 24 hour news cycle, its all infotainment; just like the bad "reality TV" shows its all day, every day Junk. I'm beyond angry about it. I cannot think of any commercial news outlet today that has a shred of credibility.

You didn't pull a quote from the interview. You pulled a quote from an article. The portion of the interview shown on Meet The Press doesn't include this alleged Canadian wall statement, so there's no written transcript on it. But here's the entire interview, and in no way does Walker advocate such a wall. He does say that we have to look into border security on our Northern border as well, but says nothing about a wall.

He did say it only it wasn't aired. Probably a Canadian conspiracy.

Walker’s comments came during a recorded 30-minute interview Saturday with NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd that was posted online Sunday.

“Do you want to build a wall north of here too?” Todd asked, noting that Walker has talked about building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to deter terrorism in addition to illegal immigration.

“Some people have asked us about that in New Hampshire,” Walker replied. “They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at.”

The segment wasn’t part of the edited interview that aired Sunday morning on Meet the Press, but it garnered plenty of attention after it was posted.

This is so filled with half-truths and logical fallacies it's not even funny. First of all, it's the "liberal news feeds" - you mean like Faux News?

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/08/30/walker-says-wall-along-canadian-border-worth-reviewing/

Secondly, what is a "news feed"? None of the dreaded MSM has said he "wanted to build a wall"; they all reported what he said, which is that it was a legitimate issue and should be investigated. Of course now he's changed his mind. But he's been consistent all along. Really.

Well speaking of walling off the North, aren't the zombies in Game of Thrones called the White Walkers? ;)

Why can't we just wall off Washington DC instead?

Now that's an idea I can live with! Wall it off and then throw Joy Behar in there with them. That will fix their little red wagons!

I think we should annex Canada and Mexico, Just think, Canada will give us free medical, and Mexico can provide the cheap labor we need. Then all the jobs we shipped to Mexico will be back in the good ol USofA.

We will save all the money we spend on protecting the borders, customs, stuff like that.

then the drug runner won't have the problems they do getting their stuff to the users.

Lots of benefits, and no more illegal immigrants.

The only fence that seems to be working is the one around the white house.

Yeah, I have been "suckered" by actually reading Walker's words. Funny how that is.

And, if you don't like things taken out of context, I am guessing you really don't like the 2012 GOP convention and their entire show built around something taken out of context.

Or maybe a "what difference does it make" sound-bite taken out of context....

Walker said what he said. There has been plenty of context provided. Walker suffers from being uneducated, and, he suffers from saying stupid things. Those are not out of context or "suckered". He sure ain't a brain surgeon like Ben Carson.

More Koch Derangement Syndrome again, huh Groves? You should get a prescription for that.

By the way, when is your candidate Hillary going to submit to a grilling by a tough reporter like every other candidate? Or does royalty not have to do such things before her coronation? You should be so proud of her.

Shoot, it's been happening since long before Al Gore invented the Internet....

He did say that, right?

Not surprisingly this thread has deteriorated into the spin zone, like many others.

You do realize that that article is what we call "satire," right?

Gosh, I would have missed that. Wish they would have put the word 'Humor' somewhere in the URL..... Love how people like you treat those who share different views as stupid....

You mean they're not? :D

I feel the same way when either liberal media or conservative media do it.

I'd be happy to talk about different views, and we've done so before. But when you lead off with your unhealthy obsession about the Koch brothers, it's tough to have a normal conversation. Especially since you thought you had me with a "gotcha" article about Walker and the Koch brothers.

Likewise with the Tea Party.

Come to think of it, who started off thinking the other is stupid again?

Hey dumb ****. I knew it was satire. Trying to inject some humor.

How about some Poe's Law with your cole slaw?

Poe's Law is an Internet axiom which states that is difficult to distinguish etremism from satire of extremism on the Internet unless the author clearly indicates his/her intent. This notion is most frequently observed with highly polarized discussion topics, such as gender equality, religious or political fundamentalism, and other social justice-related issues.

Our medical ain't free. Our income taxes are much higher than yours to cover health care, which tends to eat around 50% of the total spending in this country. A recent study found that the cost per family per year for health care, paid through taxation, was around $12,000.

Very true. I have friends in Ontario. The Canadians have allowed themselves to be taxed to death.

Similar to what we have.

No free lunch.

The Texas governor pandered to his looney-tune constituents on Jade Helm and sent his Texas Guard (?) to keep an eye on the US Armed forces to make sure his Texans weren't rounded up this summer and stuck in an abandoned Wal-Mart in Midland, TX.

Complete and utter BS.
