building a garage cabinet. Gouged my finger with a screwdriver bit. Then snagged it on a drill bit. I think someone’s telling me I’m too stupid to do construction projects today.



For the record, that finger already has had 13 stitches in it…3 from a slip on the farm as a teenager, and 10 because I had a little accident while cutting the cheese.

Or at least telling you it is time to put the tools down for today. I've hit that point (and intelligently walked away for the day) a couple of times. And then there are the dozens of times where I pushed forward and suffered for it...

The ER nurse want sure whether she should laugh or not, but by the time she got around to asking if my pocket knife that I was cutting the cheese with was clean and I said, “I wiped it off on my pants before I used it,” she just rolled her eyes a little.
