Hi
@EricBe - a "fun" feature request:
Some years ago, my wife asked me if I'd ever flown on a certain day. Maybe Christmas or my birthday or something. I of course had to check each year of my logbook, and then thought it would be an interesting statistic to try to to keep track of. So I used a paper calendar like
https://www.printable2019calendars.com/preview/2019_Calendar_One_Page_Vertical_Grid
and on a rainy day went through my logbooks and checked off each day I had flown on. (I had about 800 hours at the time. It actually took less time that you'd think...)
Then each year I updated it. About 8 or 9 years later now, and it's interesting to see that I have still never flown on some days of the year - Christmas Day being one of them (just knocked Christmas Eve out this past year). I think there are only about 6 days in the year I haven't flown on at this point. But a few years ago, it was fun to see the patterns which had developed - for example, seeing that January and February were pretty light months, not many days flown then. But then there'd be streaks, for example, where I had never flown from June 21-28 or something.
So naturally, with this information, I started to target certain dates. This past March 4th was one such day, but I since missed it due to weather and scheduling, now I have to wait a whole year to have another chance!
Anyway, not earth-shattering importance, of course, but it has been fun to track, and even has encouraged me to go fly in some cases. For example, on 2/29/2012 I went flying just to have flown on Feb 29th (got night current too).
It would be fun if MFB was able to generate a report like this!
