Is it just me or has it been a rough few weeks for Cirrus pilot mishaps?
Glad the pilot wasn't a fatality in this one, though.

Sounds like this guy did pull, probably low. Could be many reasons for this. I hope he comes through this ok.

He was trying hard to make rwy 30 and needed to be about 700 feet higher turning base. That last ADSB ping showing 36 kts says it all. It looks like he started descending right over KMIT, which would have been a great choice. There's no LiveATC feed out here, so we have to wait for the rumor mill.
