Disappointed I had to miss.....thanks again for putting it together Frank!!!! I thought it better not to fly or expose you all to my illness......hopefully next time. Or....notwithstanding illness, I’m always up for a lunch flight.....glad you all had a good time!!!!

Check out 60J , Ocean Isle, NC. They have a BBQ joint right at the Airport and a few restaurants within walking distance. Beach is a pretty good hike. Winds are tricky. Not sure about fuel but a neat destination. Here is a pic after I took off going south down the coast. IMG_2944.JPG

He was working on Saturday. He made a few Instagram posts of us on the ramp and departing GMU. @FastEddieB - he posted a few of your Sky Arrow.

I'm in also. How about the 14th and if that ends up being bad weather automatically switch it to the 21st? But either date seems to be fine for me at this point. Already scheduled the plane for both dates until we settle on one if one of those ends up being the date.
 
Any kind of landing fee or does the FBO charge a fee for just parking and going to eat at the restaurant?
 
Last time I was there, no landing fee's at all.. just park on the ramp and walk to the restaurant....

probably need a new thread...

I was just there about a month ago, no landing fees and plenty of parking out in front of the restaurant.
