The website one of my neighbors made. The sign a different person makes. The owner is officially the Long Island Airport Homeowners Association, Inc. The airport is officially Long Island Airpark. Some of the other paperwork in the history of the place includes the "and yacht club." We do have 26 community boat slips.
 
I got the tag. Are you planning 11:00 local? gonna try and make it, we got hit with snow not sure what the getting out of the hangar situation is gonna look like quite yet.

I'm thinking noon local, 12 pm EST. That will let it warm up a little bit for everyone. It looks like it will be sunny, but chilly.

Yeah, I don't know how quickly I can get to the airport tomorrow, and it will have to sit on the warmer for a while for sure.

It's supposed to stay above 20* tonight in Chattanooga. Isn't that the pre-heat temp for Continental and Lycoming? ;)

In a prior Cirrus we plugged in the engine warmer anytime it was below either 40* or 50* (I forget). Also threw a sleeping bag over the cowl to help hold in the heat. Just left it plugged in for days. We pulled the oil cap up, wrapped a small cloth around the dipstick so nothing flew/fell into the engine, but the moisture could still escape. That IO-550 made it past 2500 hours.
 
I'm bringing a friend along. I met him many years ago doing woodworking. He used to do some luthier work (guitars) as part of his woodworking. He now flies large remote controlled planes. A couple he has in a pic on FB he said have 55cc engines and 23" props.

I am out to boyz, the girlz planned way too many things and I have live here… so
 
Wind don't bother me and the heater works fine in the Navion.
I'm going to head over to HKY (19 miles from home) and gas up and then head down to GMU. I'll see who makes it at noon. "SOUTH RAMP" seems to be the place for those who haven't been before.

Thanks, I should have added that.

South Ramp is marked on the airport diagram. The restaurant is in that area near the A taxiway. The self-serve fuel is over by the restaurant.

It’s been about a 7 I’d say. Wednesday was the worst, yesterday was so-so and last night and today has been rough. Ready to kick this biotch!

Dang, sorry to hear that Ryan.

My BIL got it over Thanksgiving and so did his 30 year daughter. It was mild for him, but worse for her. Both were vaccinated, I know she was boosted, but not she if he was or not. Totally disrupted their Thanksgiving plans. My SIL never got; or if she did she was totally asymptomatic and didn't get tested. All three live in the same house. Just weird.
 
Unfortunately cant make it...wife had planned a "go drink at the winery day" with friends I wasnt aware of, so I have the kids to watch.
