I fly at university where all aircraft are equipped with G1000 with WAAS and ADS-B.
As far as I know, the aircraft reports pressure altitude to the ATC and there are two types of encoders on board. With G1000, what are the possible type of encoder our school might be having on board?

I will also ask one of the instructors but I doubt everyone has different idea about it.

Not sure what your question is but all transponder systems report PA to ATC. Their (ATC) systems convert that PA to an actual baro altitude.

Yeah, so my question is there are two types of encoder; blind encoder and separate one. I know both of them report pressure altitude and ATC adjust it with current altimeter setting.

Now I am asking what time of encoder does G1000 integrated aircraft usually have...

On a G1000 the encoder is part of the ADC (aka integrated). A blind encoder would be a separate standalone unit which is not the case with the G1000.
