To prevent complete loss of engine power due to air being introduced into the fuel system should a fuel crossfeed line become chafed through by the firewall stiffener on the aft side of the aircraft firewall, unless already accomplished, perform the following:

But if an aircraft is evaluated then it does not require an entry. That's why it's a pre-buy evaluation and not a pre-buy inspection

you avoid the issue, that folks here like an annual as a pre-buy.

be careful what you ask for, you may get it.

Cool, Didn't get that one when I searched FAA. I would say that was in book 1.
 
On a related note,

whether it's a pre-buy evaluation, an annual inspection or just one of my ground bound vehicles going in for service, a walk around is done with the mechanic and every scratch and ding is noted (similar to the walk around that's done when you rent a car). And it's agreed upon that any damage done to my property will be repaired at no cost.

Then a post mx walk around is done with the mechanic when the vehicle is picked-up.

All can be taken care of by making sure that the buyer, seller and mechanic are all on the same page about the inspection.
