Thought maybe some POA readers might be interested in this opportunity. Contact me if you are interested or have any questions. This is ISR work if you're familiar with that. Here's the short of it;

CACI Federal, Inc. is seeking highly qualified King Air 300 Pilots to support our DoD customer at various CONUS/OCONUS locations. The candidate will perform rotational work with temporary work and intermittent training requirements when located stateside.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Secret Clearance must be obtainable
  • Must be qualified in mission, type, design, and if appropriate series of aircraft or similar type aircraft with the ability to complete an appropriate type rating qualification.
  • Must have not less than 1000 hours documented Pilot-in-Command time.
  • Pilot-in-Command time must include 300 hours in similar aircraft type.
  • Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Must possess a current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license.
  • Must be able to meet all CRC deployment and medical requirements.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid passport with at least seven months remaining prior to expiration.
  • All candidates must be able to meet the requirements of all US Combatant Commands’ entry requirements.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Former US military pilot.
  • 300 hours in Proline 21 equipped King Air variant aircraft or have received formal military or FAA certified vendor Proline 21 training.
  • US military trained Fixed Wing Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Pilot, Safety Officer or Instrument Examiner.
  • Prior overseas experience in forward deployed area of operations.
  • Radio Telephone Operators Permit.
  • Associate’s degree or minimum of five years of related experience preferred

An aviation job where I meet all requirements! Except time in type. It's always something.

Only a 2nd class medical needed.

Lots of the others also only care about a 2nd class.

Not a bad listing pay depending, 1000 is pretty low for a ISR capt, would be a good way to build some time and make some $$, well after you get cleared

Very interested. Not even remotely qualified, except for the ability to get a secret clearance... but very interested.

Could not find “US Combatant Commands’ entry requirements.”

It’s acceptance by a particular COCOM. Could be a number of things with the most important being an interim or adjuticated clearance.

If I get to kill goat farmers with James, sign me up!

Besides people in the military, there are maybe 10 people who have 300 hours PIC in 300 series King Airs with 1000 hour Total Time... And I'd bet 9 of them wipe with hundred dollar bills.

Given that there are several hundred of these planes on the civil registry, I'd figure there are quite a few pilots that meet at least that requirement. I could likely get the clearance, Clarence, but sadly have no 300 experience (I know that at least some of them require a type rating, perhaps all 300/350).

I was referring to people who only have 1000 hours total time. I think less than 10 people have 300 hours PIC in a 300 series king air and only 1000 hours total time.
