Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

The [Three Letter Acronym] IDK (I Don't Know) could just as easily stand for I Do Know which is why IKN for I Know Not is the superior [Three Letter Acronym]. I will die on this hill. :cheerswine:
[By The Way] BTW, when the Kansas City Union Station was remodeled about 20 years ago, they found all sorts of items inside the walls and scattered around the place. That “WUT” was off a uniform and means “Western Union Telegraph”. I took that picture while waiting for the Amtrak. I figured I would find the opportunity use it some day.

Imagine being a German in WW1 and a young American soldier jumps into your trench with a shotgun. You’d be one sour Kraut.

According to HW McBride, when you jumped into a German trench, you used your .45. Rifles/shotguns etc were too unwieldy.

Terrific book by the way.

"Absquatulation", a word for all time. The English sure have a talent for the use of the English language ... possibly the source of the term "eponymous" ... or sumthin'. It's probably best if I absquatulate now.

There was a guy on Facebook who was trying to convince me that it's impossible for rockets to leave the atmosphere because they would experience high-altitude stall. He claimed that all pilots know this, and when I told him that I'm a pilot, he didn't believe me.

That's unbelieveable.

Whew. Someone finally posted a joke. I was gittin’ ready to say maybe this thread should be renamed to the ‘no jokes on Friday joke thread.’

Afraid all the submarine puns were torpedoing the thread?

A sub-palindrome is a contiguous chain of palindromes with a common center.

Wasn't Palindrome the guy with the business card that said "have gun will travel"? Or do I have him mixed up with someone that was in the artillery?
