This Saturday 4/27, about 10 of us are planning to meet at KTHA for a bite to eat and walk thru the Beechcraft Heritage Museum.

If you’re not able to make Rough River, maybe you could join us here.

11:30am CDT

Ground transportation will be provided by Uber to a nearby BBQ joint. As we further discuss any plans or changes, they will be posted here.

So, are you that bitter that you can’t attend Rough River that you plan a cool fly-in when you know a lot of us can’t make it? :) :) :)

Have fun. That’s definitely on my list of places to visit. It’s kind of sad that I’m so close and haven’t been there yet.

We've been planning this for forever, this is just the weekend that worked. Old people are going to RR, young to THA :D

It's a cool museum, lots of nice airplanes. Y'all have fun.

If you’ve never been before, here’s the basic on-field layout. Last time I was there, some people were parking on the grass out front of the museum. If it’s too soft, you can park at either of these areas and just take a short walk over.

That pic makes me look short. You wouldn’t think that I’m 6’2” in real life.

Sweet pic! Do you by chance have that one of me sitting in the Starship?

Glad y’all made it back safely. Had a great time today!

Yep...dude it was a long flight. 30kt headwind And I swear the GPS showed 2 hours left for the whole flight. Not to mention it was rather bumpy too. 20190427_134636.jpg

Thanks!!

Yeah, I got my butt kicked on the way back. Tried staying around 3500’ the whole way back, and it was still sporty.

So, who's who in the picture?

That's a great museum, for anyone who's never been.

I went back at 7,500 because I was getting beat up at 5,500. Hate to go that high for a short flight but it was smooth as glass and a 10 kt tailwind.

Trip over I was 7500 on the way back we had to do 4500 for the winds.
