Hot dog......ketchup

I'm not a big ketchup fan to begin with, so it's no problem for me to remain 'hot dog PC'. The dogs I loved best were the Tijuana bacon wrapped street cart dogs, and those were typically served with relish, onions, and mayo. Chili-cheese dog comes in second. When I stop by Grey Papaya or similar, typically light on the course mustard and onions, or just plain. Their dogs are good enough that they stand well on their own.

A hotdog only has 2 valid topping options:

1. Ketchup and Mustard
2. Chili, Cheese, and Mustard

If no Chili or Cheese, it deserves Ketchup. If you ain't down with that, then you can

Speaking of yellow mustard, anyone like mustard on their scrambled eggs instead of ketchup? I love mustard on eggs.

I put mustard on boiled eggs, and it is an ingredient in deviled eggs, but either mustard or ketchup on scrambled eggs sounds like it belongs in the WTF category. Mustard? Maybe. Ketchup? Hell no.

Tapatio or Tabasco if Tapatio isn't available. Ground mustard just doesn't stand up to the egg.

I'm will Ball Sac on this. Ketchup or mustard on scrambled eggs? :barfyfaceicon:

Didn't watch it, but I have eaten in Asian markets, nothing in this hemisphere served as food frightens me. TJ street carts provide two of my favorite snacks in the world, those hot dogs and the tacos done on the grill, not the spit. Many things are edible if cooked correctly, make it taste yummy and I'll eat it.

Ketchup, and it should be Heinz.

I won't buy Heinz products for political reasons. I prefer Hunts anyway. Put anything you want on dogs, but I prefer relish and mustard.

If you find something resembling cheese, mayo or mustard on your furburger, it's probably best to pass it up.

Never heard of it, but it's not too strange. Ketchup and mustard are both vinegar-based condiments (as is Tabasco/Red Hot/etc. chili pepper sauces, mentioned above, which I do like on scrambled eggs once in a while -- particularly a breakfast burrito).

One odd topping to scrambled eggs I've seen is maple syrup, which my SIL likes. I'd never heard of it before, but I suppose if you had pancakes or french toast and eggs on one plate and the syrup got away from you, I could easily see it happening.

What about brats, boiled in a good dark beer and onions, then finished off on the charcoal grill? With some good hot mustard

Mustard, piccalilli and chopped onions. Ketchup is for hamburgers and fries.

Hotdog Heaven in Orlando... Chili-Cheese Fire Dog Basket (comes with just made while you watch fries) with mustard and hot sauce. Chocolate Milkshake to drink. Sit outside and feed the birds with bits of fries.

Eggs I can do either sweet or savory, probably the most versatile protein source there is.

When I'm done, it always looks like it has all three on it....and ketchup.

I think you're doing it wrong.

Wife puts ketchup on biscuits and gravy.

I prefer Bacon on mine!:yesnod:

Hot dogs: NO Ketchup, and no Catsup. Mustard. Onions, pickles, chili, kraut optional.

Eggs/Omelet: Ketchup is fine to water down the Tobasco a tad.

A1: Works great to revive yesterday's left over grilled burgers warmed in the micro.

Ketchup on hot dogs is a non-issue when stores are selling cinnamon rolls with pizza.

Or for that matter pineapple on pizza. I like pizza, and I like pineapple, but I don't like pineapple on my pizza. One is a dessert food and the other isn't.
