Hi! I'd be thankful to hitch a ride from Camarillo (or greater LA/Ventura/Santa Barbara area) to other locations like:

1) Sacramento
2) Palo Alto/bay area
3) Long Beach
4) Wine country

every now and then.

Specifically, while I realize this is a long shot, if anyone is willing to go from Camarillo to Sacramento now, hang out with me at an event called "Innovate Your State" and then down to Long Beach this afternoon for a start-up pitch (it's a new drone company) I'd be so thankful. Plus I think we'd have fun!

Prostitution on POA! I love it!

POPOA! Prostitution on Pilots of America!

Amanda, if you're real, I am only kidding. Maybe. :D

I'm cracking up. Yes, I am real. Life is better when it makes a better story... sometimes the best answer is, why the heck not?! Besides, I've been told I'm quite interesting. But golly, I don't want to over sell! And many thanks for considering it.

I was always required to show my work so:

4'3" + 400 lbs = nope

;)
Show work. Really? As in proof for a problem one has solved? How OLD school. Nobody MY AGE does this anymore. (#We'll make a fine pair ;))

Oh yeah, by the way, define "wine country."

Technically, anywhere that has land with grapes that people turn into wine. I was thinking about California -- specifically the greater Napa Valley, San Luis Obispo and the hidden gem wineries inland. I suppose anywhere we could fly and have a glass of wine could qualify as well. One cannot be too terribly picky when they are hitchhiking.

So 4'3", 400 lbs, and "quite interesting."

That's three strikes. :)

Sac...really? You gotta throw in stats on a joke...MY joke? ;)

Pretty sure 400 lbs and full tanks would rule both of our planes out Tim. LoL

Maybe if we lashed them together.....

Could we both log the time as PIC in multi?

I'm a Napa Valley snob myself but Sonoma Valley snobs have utter disregard for anything Napa. But nearly all of Northern California is wine region.

Even Oakland.

Isn't PoA == Whine Country?
Oh no, prostitutes don't whine at all... from what I hear this is what makes them so attractive. But sadly for many I am sure, I assure you I am no prostitute. My general trend is bright, quite selfish, emotional when aroused, fond of admiration... ;) And, this gal would be truly thankful for a good old fashion ride every now and then. Okay, off to drive (ugh) to my drone company start-up meeting (Camarillo to Newport Beach) that I mentioned in my original post. Flying with one of you would have been more dreamy for sure! More soon... thanks for the good fun! This is the best message board welcome experience I've had to date. You all should be proud! Ha! Talk soon, boys!

Well, I happen to be planning a solo flight from Pacoima to San Jose (Reid) on Sunday. ONE way. You'll have to return by purple 737. If I could be persuaded the flight can be completed safely AND you can contribute to the cost, it might happen. I'm not an air charter, and I'm not interested in behaving like one. I won't fly additional legs to support it.

I don't care how tall you are, but I do care if you fit behind the yoke, and can be trusted to have it in reach. Even at 400 lb, you won't make a 172 over gross, but the balance does have to work, so I will need to know your REAL weight.

All 58 counties in California have some wine production. You're in Ventura County; I think the nearest wine region is near Pima, or maybe Ojai.

Believe it or not, I have a gig at the Hollywood Bowl Saturday. Well, I hardly believe it either.

The gig determines my timing. It's happening Sunday morning or not at all. "Now" isn't happening.

Ha! 4'3" and 400 lbs. This should help with calculations quite a bit.

Wouldn't work in my plane. Forward CG exceeded. Sorry.

Even in a small helicopter, you'd be over. Then again, you could ride "sling load." Might be quite fun...unless the engine fails.:(

If I lived in CA I would go out of my way to give you a lift just because you have proved by your comments that you are indeed an interesting person with a good sense of humor. :)

Keep right on giving these guys hell. :D

No one has said it yet, so I'll crack the ice...welcome. Come back for more! ;) :D

Love his approach to mitigating blade failure damage.

If she lays across the backseat, it'd be the same as carrying two 200 lb pax. Don't see the problem.
At 4'3" and 400# she wouldn't have to lay across the seat. She could sit with one butt cheek in each seat.
