We don’t have mountains around here so they ski down hills! Lol

I certainly didn’t expect the wind sock to just be hanging there!

Damn those two planes look eerily familiar... just sayin
The only good thing about "Northerly Island" is you can enjoy the lakefront without having to talk to anyone. What airports did you knock off the list?Made my last flight in the club archer this afternoon, burning off my last couple accumulated hours. Logged 4 new airports.

Dropping the 180 off at 10c for annual next week. If you heard 4123w today that was my dad getting his BFR.Pwk, ugn, 10c, & 3ck
Yeah, that bird flies a lot. 40+ hours a month. She won't miss me.I've been on the radio with 4149T before but it wasn't @Jim K
You look a little high here - bravo clearance?Fermilab
3CK is my nemesis… something about the site picture and I always pancake landings there…Pwk, ugn, 10c, & 3ck
No...I just wasn't all that close and it was hazy. 3500'. The approach controllers seemed grumpier than the last time I was up there. The 6 day weeks are probably taking a toll. Every single one of them ended every transmission with "remain OUTSIDE the bravo".You look a little high here - bravo clearance?

Try 09 at 10c. Displaced threshold and going downhill. Usually has pretty competitive fuel prices.No...I just wasn't all that close and it was hazy. 3500'. PWK was the one that surprised me. I got 24, which looks real short coming in over those trees. The tower controllers were the friendliest I've ever talked to. They actually sounded like they were having fun.
Probably specialized test instrumentation. I found this:
JRC-12G 80-23380 operates as a chase/verification aircraft during icing test conducted over Lake Superior near Duluth, Minnesota in March, 2007.Then assigned to the US Army Aviation Technical Test Center at Fort Rucker, the Huron is currently assigned to the Redstone Test Center’s Aviation flight Test Directorate
