Well this is funny, this was my first flight since getting my iPhone 12 and I was playing with the camera a lot. I took this picture of the small town I went to school in and have a lot of friends in- Pittsfield, IL. My course just happens to take me by there a lot.

So I snapped this and just happened to post it to a FB group for things of local interest and now someone from the local paper is asking me to send it to him with info about when/where/why. Lol I was just flying home and seeing what my new phone camera could do.

Yesterday's PAWS flight. Over to Tunica p/u drop in Springfield TN. I like how the MEM approach controllers work VFR. Climb 5500' heading 360 then resume own. I pounded the little 140 at Vx just on the inside of the active base leg into MEM.

eh, pipe dream but we'll see what happens. also, not all that young to be starting in this business. still need to build hours and all this is during the worst possible time for any opportunity for a low hour, no experience guy. but it's all good.
