Cougars: They're Baaack!

Re: Cougers: They're Baaack!

Can we promote a Cougar vs. Coyote cage match? :D

(My neighbor's (Pit Bull and American Bulldog) dogs escaped from his yard to go play with the coyote.)

Re: Cougers: They're Baaack!

i think I may reconsider some geochaching in the area for the time being. Or at least start to arm myself.

Re: Cougers: They're Baaack!

"Them ain't deer, they're two large cats" does not have proper clause matching...

It should be

"them ain't deer, them be two large cats".

Sigh... I am SO tired of this stereotypical misinformation.

It's:

"Them ain't deer - they's two large cats!"

We were in Tennessee over July 4th and after hearing enough of the locals double-negatives for a few days... Dad and I were walking into an ice cream shop and Mom said "Don't get me anything, I'm not hungry" I turned to her and said "MOM, it's "don't get me NOTHING"! Remember where you are now!"

You know that sounds very elitist and snobbish. Much like Obama. :D

Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge?

and you knew exactly where I was talking about! :D

There is a resort literally sandwiched in between the two. Having been there, I can say that it's marvelous access to the Great Smoky Mountains NP - but otherwise no need to go back!

Nuts, I thought for sure THIS thread would be a ribald tale, but NOOO, just a bunch of stupid cats.....

LOL. BTDT. I'd rather be back where your avatar is than just about anywhere.

actually I really liked the Smokies - very pretty - but Gat'burg and Pigeon Forge are a little too full of humanity and tacky stores for my tastes.

Tisk tisk. You're in Illinois, my friend. In order to remain a violence-free state, you're compelled by law to go unarmed. In turn, the animals (human or nonhuman) will leave you alone out of respect for the law.

Yeah, saw that earlier this week. The 130 lb male cat jumped a 6 foot fence with the 70 lb dog in its mouth! They are amazing. Bottom line, don't sleep with your doors open.

that same thing happened here few yrs back, owners went outside to discover the mountain lion was going back over the 6' fence into the pen for the OTHER Rottweiler!!!

Crap, I though this thread was about older women in bars. Better luck next time.

Don't y'all get me nothin. I never heard "-ing" once in all the time I lived in kentucky. They're just all inbred rednecks, bless their hearts.

Git it ryat, yankee.

"Y'all" ONLY refers to more than one -- never a single person.

"All ya'll" refers to a large group (perhaps the entire family).

It's y'all, Dan!

And those folks in Kentucky may be rednecks, but that "inbred" comment is way out of bounds! :(

(even IF you said "bless their hearts" at the end of it!)
