That’s about it. I’ve been instructing with BasicMed for about 6 years now. It’s actually written into the regulations. 61.23(c)(1)(vii).Flight instructors can absolutely operate under BasicMed, with the same limitations for aircraft, altitude, speed, etc. that apply to all BasicMed operations.

No, I’m referring to “doesn't need Basic Med or a medical certificate.”Keep in mind the BasicMed safety pilot problem has been resolved for a couple years now if you’re referring to that.
