Of course you can. But the FCC only cares if you have a radio license on you.

Ooohhh no, the Icon is a step backward.
Better would be quicker, more range, more space inside, increasing payload. Caravan, or Kodiak would be great, if not so outrageously expensive.

Here's the thing... I can go fly an Icon... right now. Well okay, not literally right now, but I'm a 45 minute drive from Vacaville, so in theory, I could probably be up in a demo flight by early afternoon. A 206 float plane? I need to get a Basicmed worked out, plus I don't have a seaplane rating. I guess if I operate it on land only I don't need one, I'm not sure how that works out.

Like I said, define better. The Icon fits in my garage. The 206 on floats? Not so much. If the thing would cost a quarter of what it does, I might even bite.
 
if you have satellite cable and a storm rolls thru and the tv goes all wonky, you know, like a tv does when it can't get a good signal........is that bad for the tv itself? sac, is our tv gonna be ok?
 
The TV is okay, but here is a bigger problem...

The Space Elevator. If our TV is going wonky from a passing storm, that end of the long cable that dangles the counterweight from earth in to space is likely damaged. Remember, circuits 101. Electrons need a path to travel down. Break that path and the electrons can't travel from the satellites down to earth, duh.

And yet an even bigger problem...

Let's say the cable is severed and the counterweight flies off in to another galaxy. There is a potential for disrupting remote alien life, and guess what? You said it. The UFOs show up in force, with some really ****ed off space aliens aboard.

But wait a minute. Those would be alien spacecraft. Then they wouldn't be UFO's anymore now that we know what they are. Once people figure that out they will quit watching the History Channel. Oh but wait, they can't. TV reception has been eliminated by means of the severed Space Elevator.
 
I was in the store today and they were blasting tunes from the 70's and 80's. Given that those songs are 40-50 years old now, did stores play pre-war songs back in the 70's and 80's?
