I'm looking forward to it! However, I bet the helmet will be too big... So, I'm gonna take a knit hat to wear under it in the hopes it will snug it up a tad.
It's all good, but I sure don't want the helmet dipping over my eyes :D
There is a good picture on the recent trade a plane cover that a friend took of several of my friends flying a tight formation of V tails over lake belton in central texas ...
Glenn takes great aerial photos... Check out machpointoneaviation.com
Newly minted PPs are recent and on PTS standards or they wouldn't pass. So in their neighborhood I think they'd be pretty good. Pilots who haven't flown in 6-12 mos. might be a tad rusty depending on their experience level before they took a break. My husband hasn't flown in several years but...
I had a corgi pounce on and swallow an avocado pit that I accidentally dropped once. I called my vet about it and he just laughed and told me not to worry it would work out in the end.....
Glad the big dog is clear now.
Besides being dishonest, juvenile and showing poor judgment....
He starts the thread with an honest question. He's been given good answers and silly ones. I'm betting he can recognize the difference.
I got a mesh helmet made to fit me and my headset from Pops leather. The make helmets with leather and sheep skin lining too for cold.
But, if the external ANR won't work then I'd try what Shane suggested for headsets and you can get a pops helmet made to order to fit over that arcus once...
No, I'm not referring to the position of any other aircraft. What I meant is, if as you fly along a gust or wind shear or turbulence kicks a wing up - banks you over, then along with aileron make sure you use the high side rudder to help level the wings.
Also, when you are correcting for regular turbulence or wake turbulence, which you should be able to avoid in future hopefully, make sure you use the rudder as well as ailerons to level the plane. Step on the sky side rudder, aka top rudder
Rob, this may sound a bit extreme but could you get financing to buy a usable older 172 or 152 if you and your CFI aren't real big guys and just train in that then sell it? You'd get your money back (assuming no huge Mx issues) and you wouldn't have to bother with other folks using your plane etc.
