Wow looked like a great landing. What was the dollar amount of damage on that ? We are looking to add another plane to our club probably another 172. Talk was had about a lsa but that was my concern.

One of our club planes is down for a bird strike to the leading edge, not affecting me right now but is affecting a student who was scheduled for his check ride.

Man that sucks. Looked like a nice plane. Deal fell through on the first one I went to buy. Ended up being a blessing and I ended up with a much nicer plane.

I flew in one a couple weeks ago. Very interesting and amazed how sharp of a turn they could make. Just a little slow climbing and crusing for me.

This pretty much sums up the dreams I have.

I just purchased a plane that had some wing damage in 83, I guess landing on a taxi way with a bac of .23 can make that happen , I figured after all these years it wasn't a concern. It was the plane I wanted with everything I required so I didn't let it affect me. Hopefully that doesn't bite me...
