    Washing Aircraft

The going rate for an outside wash with bottom degrease with wheel paints is $90 in my neck of the woods. nothing inside. Got to love SoCal... But they did have DI water and did a great job!... now if the Airport would pay for this as they are working on the field and making a ton of...

    Comm Mistake

I use Comm 1 for everything... it's the only one mounted in my plane... Comm 2 is in the flight bag and has been used since the #1 radio was acting up.. thinking it may be good to have 2 in the stack.

Viable airplane options for low time pilots?

I picked up a nice VFR Cherokee 140 with a 180 engine that is really a great performer... for 23k... they are out there... keep looking. the Cherokee 180 will carry more load than a 172, and I just like the low wing for a lot of reasons..

    what is this?

It's actually a Flux Capacitor... it eliminates the effects of gravity when activated, thus creating unlimited lift, and range... the only limit is the time the battery has enough power... not allowed in aircraft with student pilots...

1963 Piper Cherokee - Any thoughts on this one?

Looks like a great 180, and yes the back seat leg room is a little tight, but it is workable... the extra power of the 180 really helps, my '67 140 with the same engine is really a delight to fly, just went from So Cal to Southern Utah last weekend, 600 miles and 5 hours total, so much better...

    Price Check Cherokee 140/160

35K sounds a little high.. but maybe 3k to 4k high... so the question to me would be is it worth spending that much to have the equipment it has... I wanted a 180, but was only looking at 140's due to budget. then found a 140 with a 540 hr O-360 and a poor panel for 23k after pre-buy...

I started last year after 20 years off... the company I work for sponsored a ground school, so went through that, and went flying with a CFI... first 20 minuets were not good, everything was just off... then like a light switching back on everything came back and I was into it again... 3...
