    Customs..Basicmed?

I think thats a given. If someone is flying under Basicmed and have a certificate they have satisfied hte requirements. You can't get to the page to print the certificate if you don't satisfy the paperwork portion. As for the OP's question - I would definitely make sure they're expecting...

Taking it to the other side - my mother had mild belly pain on and off pain for 2 years - despite my telling her to go see the doctor she blew it off because a) she was stubborn and b) she was a cancerphobe. Died 7 years later from metastatic colon cancer, after 2 rounds of chemo, resection...

    Vegas

You want to definitely fly with someone who knows the area. As for the Big Ditch you also need to fly with a tour company that has the right to fly into the SFRA . Might be cheaper to rent a 182 and instructor for a 'check out' and then simply fly around for 90 minutes. There are still a few...

ok - you've got your answers . . . they are what you expected. As I said -the issue is not what happened - its what you can prove. Good luck. If you can provide documentation to the FAA that shows the date of the offense, and no other DUI's on your driving record, along with what your BAC...

Alcohol Related Arrest Greater than 5 years Ago

@Volzalum - question: In your state of residence at the time of the arrest, did the law require the police to seize your license and issue you a temporary or other similar document? If so, thats a motor vehicle action. Even if they gave it back the next day - The rest of it is...

Fly to an intersection on an approach plate when cleared for the visual?

    A) it was probably for spacing. B) I always have the approach in use set up on my 530w, just not activated. C) when flying in the central valley in Calif in winter, I usually try to fly to the FAF and then to the runway because visibility is usually anywhere from 2-4 miles - so when VFR...

Harrison Ford & I Now Have A Bit Too Much In Common...Pilot Deviation :(

Actually, it wasn't. They did the checklist, one part involved lining up on the correct runway and verifying the heading - which they brain farted on - same exact mental mistake.

    Anything for attention...sigh.

proof positive it was not a service dog - they've got training around that too - unless you ignore their notice to you - and most real service dog owners are very attuned to the critter

Harrison Ford & I Now Have A Bit Too Much In Common...Pilot Deviation :(

I wouldn't stress it - your CFI is going to get the grief - not you. You may get a quick refresher from the FSDO - but it'll just be a chat - No sure what else you could have done - you repeated back the correct runway and landed on a different one - it was a situation where the brain never...
