    Horn in your vehicles

Because the right-laner is doing the speed limit as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I cannot believe what I just saw...

In today's world, that will get you arrested for exposing yourself, and a lifetime of registering as a sex offender. Hot fueling his aircraft is the least of his infractions..... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    I stood my ground.....

Bidding - ordering or requesting that someone perform an action? Treat him like he is there to provide customer services? Um no. When did we stop requesting that people perform the jobs they are paid to do, in the roles they serve in? Why does everything get turned into class warfare? Sent...

    I stood my ground.....

I said nothing about mistreating him. He's there to provide Customer Service to pilots, not advice on flight safety. He's not your flying "caddy", telling you which club to use. He disregarded a request to hangar or move the aircraft to the sun light. That is his job. It shouldn't be a...

    I stood my ground.....

Seek out his boss. Explain to him/her that a line guy is making safety decisions for you. Seriously, he is there to do what you ask him to, nothing more. Not a time to be overly considerate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Horn in your vehicles

It's a part of our over PC society. My wife gets angry at me when I use the horn, and when I flash high beams at people who camp out in the left lane. Apparently, it's not kind and gentle enough? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hypothetical question regarding CFI renewal.

Frankly, if you can't pass an online FIRC, you probably shouldn't be instructing at all..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I stood my ground.....

Why does a line guy care, and why do you care what a line guy cares about? Seriously, he's there to do your bidding when it comes to fueling and moving aircraft. Treat him as such. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

EPA accuses Volkswagen, Audi of evading emission laws

First, it's Volkswagen. Most car manufacturers build concept cars, or have factory racing teams, or invest in other industries. The purpose being investment in engineering, with the belief that some of that will apply back to bread and butter cars most of us poor folk drive. The DSG...

Cirrus pilot paid $15,000 for a parachute repack?

I call BS. Some of the items on your list in the other post are 5 and 10 year items, invalidating the 'A YEAR' portion of your first post. Properly amortized / reserved, he isn't spending $35K a year.

    Dogs left in the car

Those of you that remote start your cars with your dogs locked inside need to remember that most factory remote start systems will auto shutdown after a period of 5-15 minutes, depending on the setting. I know the Ford systems are this way, but the average dumb ass consumer doesn't even think...

EPA accuses Volkswagen, Audi of evading emission laws

The ECU in the 2015's may not be injecting enough urea (same with the Passats which had urea from the start). It's also possible that the ECU still has the cheat code installed, which is why both urea and non-urea VW 2.0L's were pulled into the list.

EPA accuses Volkswagen, Audi of evading emission laws

Redneck hillbillies love their smoke tunes, DPF deletes, 4 inch exhausts, and anything else that makes their oversized POS trucks belch out more black smoke. I really wish the EPA would go after the Malones, EFILives, etc. of the world and bury them with enough legal costs to shut them down.

EPA accuses Volkswagen, Audi of evading emission laws

An engineering team, under pressure to implement new, unproven technology (NOx Trap - LNT) that they sold to upper management as a solution to implementing corporate strategy. Happens each and every day in various industries.

    Favorite US WWII Bomber

^This^. My brother-in-laws father flew 35 missions over Germany as a B24 pilot (Clay's Pidgeon) in the 445th bomber group out of RAF Tibenham (Jimmy Stewart's group). He has his logbook and various AAC manuals on B24 ops, etc. Fascinating reviewing this bit of history. Sent from my iPad...

Gosh, I would have missed that. Wish they would have put the word 'Humor' somewhere in the URL..... Love how people like you treat those who share different views as stupid....
