Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

Was in the mall with the wife when we decided to venture through the pet store. Upon entering I noticed a beautiful bird that the shop owner said was a yellow-naped Amazon parrot. As I looked at him & he stared at me he turned to my wife and said, "your husband is about the homeliest man I have ever seen!" I was mortified as the shop keeper came over a warned the bird not to talk to his customers that way.

Humiliated ... I acted like it was no big deal as we quickly strolled around the store and made our way to the exit. Near the door I heard the parrot say loudly, "hey lady!" The shop owner shouted at the bird, "I'm warning you!" The parrot looked right at my wife, winked and said, "you know"

This is sadly not funny and too common in general, not just construction. This is not a “worker” problem this is a “management” problem. The guy who did this didn’t know any better, but the person whom put him in the position that this happened should damn well know better than putting somebody that green to the trade in a position they could even do that. I am fully for apprenticeship over formal education for lots of things, where the heck was his gardian angle looking over his shoulder when this happened? Sorry for being negative on a joke thread but this one hits close to “home” (like many peoples most valuable possession)

The puns would be great if they were actually funny.
