When asked about the extra pedal on my '47, i would tell them it is the kick start, like on a motorcycle.

A lot of folks believed me, especially when it started the engine..

Naw, Fiat has a normal shifter... it's all the other controls they put in weird places. The scary part is, after you drive one for awhile, it starts to make sense.
