I had Sylvain 'toon my plane 18 months ago. He is a great artist, very professional and his work was delivered on time and at cost. I highly recommend him for some hangar art!

I had mine done as well. He made several revisions for me to get it just the way I wanted it.

What is the current exchange rate?

I believe I was one of the first US customers! Made my flying t-shirts out of this:

What is the current exchange rate?

I paid exactly $55.66 for one illustration, just this morning. Looking forward to the result!

Just a fast low pass to give you some ideas for Xmas gifts with customized goodies... ;)

I m always here if you have any questions...

My son flies the AC130H Spectre Gunship, it was recently retired and I would like a pic of the plane. What is the process of getting this done, just order from the web site.

Just so I'm clear...it's roughly $45 US just to have the cartoon made, then additional to have printed on a shirt, post card, etc...?

You can visit this page for helping our project :
http://fr.ulule.com/airpictures-artbook/

I'm one of those customers. About to get plane number 2 done

Question,

The website says the image will be about 3900x2600 pixels. How large of a quality image can be printed from that? Sounds kinda small but I'm not a computer guy.

depends on the dpi. We have a couple of his printouts and they look perfect printed. I forget the dimensions but they are 15 X something

Resolution @300dpi @200dpi
6MP 3000 x 2000 10x6" 15x10"
8MP 3500 x 2300 12x8" 17x12"
10MP 3900 x 2600 13x9" 19x13"

12MP 4200 x 2800 14x9" 21x14"
14MP 4600 x 3100 15x10" 23x15"
16MP 4900 x 3300 16x11" 24x16"
18MP 5200 x 3500 17x12" 26x17"

"Assuming a 3:2 aspect ratio, divide the megapixels by 6, take the square root, then multiply that result by 3 for your width, and by 2 for your height. For example, a 14MP image. Divide 14 million by 6, which equals 2.3 million. Take square root of that, which equals about 1500. Multiply 1500 by 2 and by 3 to get your dimensions (3000 x 4500).
Now divide 3000 and 4500 by the dpi (for example 300dpi to arrive at a print size of 10" by 15")"

^not from my brain.

I m not sure to understand you...

You do really good drawings for a good price, Well I want in on the action. See I have been blessed with the ability to draw very crappy but sensual pictures of wives and girlfriends. Ever since I was a small boy whenever I met a friends girlfriend or wife I would go home and draw them. I feel it to be a disservice to not share my work with fellow enthusiasts.

On a more serious note are you able to draw me a picture of our American Champion Ryan Villopoto#2? He is currently in Europe on a mission to Destroy your MXGP World Hero and Champions Desalle, Nagle, and Cairoli as well as sleep with the smelly women whilst drinking your superior craft beers! I will admit we (Americans) have eaten a little humble pie and are not used to seeing RV#2 in anything but 1st place seems you're "little" (read as very small penises) riders are much faster than we gave credit.

Yes Bryan ! Sometimes, people want size adjust to print them larger. There is not a problem ! For printing on cup, keyrings or t-shirts, that s enough...

Hello Sylvain,

I was just about to send you an e-mail, but thought that your answers to my questions might also be of interest for others.

I want to have the picture printed, to put it on the wall, for what I would like to have a background.
However, in order to put it on a mug, no background would be preferred.

Can I decide which background I want and what is the process?
Do you always provide two versions of the picture - one with and one without background? If not, what will be the additional charge?

I sent the payment via Paypal and I sent the emails with photos of my plane on the 26th of July. No response yet.

Crap...It is August...the entire month is a national holiday in France...
