one day with the 170 I was trying to get home from the east side and half way thru the gorge I finally got PDX weather and they were reporting 1/8 mile in heavy snow.

The Dalles airport is in WA, even tho The Dalles city is in OR. Handy tax-mitigation trick for importing an aircraft into WA.
