For those of us who will be there regardless of weather, is there a good place to find food within walking distance of the airport should the grill owners bail on the BBQ idea?

Nothing you can walk to. The FBO usually has free hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks. If it gets cancelled and you come anyway, give me a call and you can come have hamburgers with my family and my inlaws. I come pick you up. # is 610-948-4515.

So how bad is approaching a cold front from behind and overtaking it?

Depends on the cold front. Could be just some clouds and bumps if it is a weak cold front, or could be tornados, thunderstorms and hail if it is a rather violent cold front, or could be anything in between.

The good news is that approaching from behind you have a rather abrupt cloud transition so you can usually get fairly close the front and actually eyeball the weather.

The Weather Channel's forecasts have improved to mostly cloudy for the day, with rain later in the evening. Weather Underground, otoh, is calling for 20-30% chance of rain in the morning, with 40% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Who to believe?

Here is the deal: chance of Precip has dropped from 40% to 30% and now to 20%. Weather guessers say cloudy with chance of evening TS probably around 9pm. I have sent the following message to all that responed that they are coming:

"Things are looking good for the Fly -B-Q @ Wings tomorrow. Weather service says it won't break down till later in the evening perhaps around 9pm long after you should be back home. Of course the final call is always up to you. My cell is ..................it will be on all day tomorrow. Remember to tell UNICOM you are here for the Fly B-Q so they can park you in the right spot. Also Montgomery County Aviation just knocked the price of fuel down another Twenty 20 cents to $2.69 ( A price extended only tomorrow to our Fly -B-Q participants)
Looking forward to seeing you."

For those that will come regardless of weather I will still be there! Ed you won't go burgerless. I can grill under the large overhang and we can eat in the terminal! All of those I sent the message to have my cell phone. Those that want to come but have not responded send me a message via the web board and I will give you my cell phone number.

Also those that would like to come regardless please shoot me a message just so I know what to expect. I will probably buy the food tonight for the full 20 that intend on showing up, but I would like to know how much to throw in the freezer or donate to the local charity food pantry.
