Now that's funny. I have co-workers as friends and am always mindful of what I post there.

That's funny as it gets.

But it just proves you never know who is reading what you post..

If its funny enough, scarry enough, or just plane wrong, it will be on youtube and have 2 mil hits by dinner time.

is there some medical syndrome that makes employees instinctively hate their bosses no matter who they are or how nice they are?

I have news for the employee world: most bosses are nice guys! they came from working as an employee in many cases,...just like you are now! They are simply trying to do a job, just like you! If you don't like them cajoling, encouraging, begging you to do your job...its just because they will hear from their boss,...or their customers, if you don't!

(I will not stick around to hear the stories of the 4% of bosses that are terrible [you know there are equal or even a greater % of employees that are worse!])

Seems kind of unprofessional on the boss's part. I'd expect a little better than that. Higher standard and all.

I agree. I think the boss could have stopped at the first sentence and let the employee guess the rest.

Yeah, generally, making HR proclamations in a semi-public forum like that seems fraught with legal landmines.

This would be a good one to send to "Bob & Tom" for their keystones unsmooth moments bit.

Dave, I'd quibble with that 4% number...

This looks like it's in the UK, no idea what the laws are there but yes, very unprofessional to put on facebook . Also funny. :)

I saw a video on youtube - some young woman was drunk at the Christmas party, talking about how cheap her boss was and how the party sucked. Of course he was right behind her. She turned around and saw him and tried to spin it, but there was no spin happening for her, as far as he was concerned. I envisioned a really bad Monday morning.
