Its a touch strong though, especially the gusts. Been out of the south all week though.Looks like it will only shift about about 10 degrees. Not much of a flip.

Oh maybe the difference between the sustained wind and gust on final? Maybe the severe crosswind effect on the ground on a 172? Major turbulence? Might be my imagination.Don't see the problem, at least in CMH, that's right down the runway.

What were you flying and at what altitude? That's kinda what I was looking at, KTZR to KBAF (Mass.) I could do without a fuel stop in my 172G.My last flight out of KOSU we had a 60 knot tailwind all the way to Maine. Yum.
