What's it look like where you live?

Photo is a couple years old, but the wintertime scene hasn't changed at all. This is over Chelan Airport, looking s/w along the Columbia River.

Interesting track- what were you doing? Heading back, I was 3000 MSL so were were pretty close to each other. I keep having to remember that 2000 MSL is only ~500 AGL out here. Sitting on the ground at Seward was 500' above traffic pattern in the places I flew in NJ.

My FBO has a contract to take Air Quality samples for NOAA. Its basically a great excuse for me to
a) get free 421 time
b) go to FL250 a couple times in a day
c) crank and bank in said 421

If you were at 3000 we only were anywhere near each other for a few seconds, when we were diving through it on the way down in the circle, or climbing through on our way back to ames.
 
Here's one I took last month, see how a few minutes before dark makes all the difference?
