Sorry - these videos are shockingly addicting of completely unprepared people trying to ford water in their sedans.
British for ya.Big difference. I can find that funny because of the huge signs with flashing lights. I can’t comprehend who giggles at car after car being destroyed and doesn’t do anything to warn people. That’s just the lowest form of life imo.
How do you know there weren't signs up the road? Maybe they were giggling at the ones dumb enough to still try and cross. They weren't giggling at the people who turned around up the road and didn't try to make it through.Big difference. I can find that funny because of the huge signs with flashing lights. I watched the video and they showed it from several angles. If there was a sign, it was mighty tiny. How do you know there weren't signs up the road? There’s a big yellow sign in the middle of the stream that says the water is 2’ deep, and the signs on either side that you see the back of probably say it’s impassable with high water.I watched the video and they showed it from several angles. If there was a sign, it was mighty tiny.
Kind of like this .
It is a railroad bridge in Durham, NC
Even better. They didn't put up a sign, and then the cops chase them to ticket after they cross.WTF didn't those *******s put a sign up?
If it's illegal to cross, why wouldn't Smokey just block the road with his lights on?Even better. They didn't put up a sign, and then the cops chase them to ticket after they cross.
For those old enough to remember drum brakes, remember what happened when all four brake drums got wet.??

There you go, destroying the thread with facts!A quick Google says that Rufford Ford, is well known in England. This is always a Ford, but the river across the road usually only has an inch or two of water.

@Salty, apparently, there are road closed signs when the water gets deeper than 6" and there's a 4-mile detour to go around this Ford.

The cops are there to catch drivers who try to speed through the Ford.

In Texas, they have a stick on the side of the road where water may be. It has marks and numbers for how many feet. Most go up to 3 - 4 feet. One I saw was calibrated to 15 feet.
