What's flying over me?

Once again I am hearing military jets overhead loud enough to be clearly heard indoors. Dogs are barking. I live NEAR a MOA but not under one. Can't see them today as it's overcast but it looks like military jets doing training maneuvers... don't know about today but on some days they are definitely overhead and not inside the MOA.

Just to be clear I'm not complaining I think it's cool. I'm just curious who it is. Who knows how to find out? Heard around 2:40pm CDT about 18nm out on the 145 radial off the UIN VOR.
 
Are you aware that even though you are not under a MOA, there is this NOTAM that exists basically all of the time:

If you plot that its a rather large area north of the STL class B. There is also another similar NOTAM to the south. Might have something to do with that little aviation company in STL ;).
 
I see that NOTAM every time I go flying to the point I just scroll by and forget about it. It's been up pretty much continually for well over a year now if not longer.
 
I agree with the above post. There's a good chance Boeing is doing some testing up there.
 
Check adsbexchange.com next time you hear it. Might be on there

My VA house is under an MTR too - pretty cool to see and hear flights of 2 or 3 fighters booming through these mountains. Happens here about once a week.

I just look up to see what military aircraft is overhead. Hear/see them all the time here.
 
Just had an Osprey zip over the house today on the MTR. Pretty loud.
