What will you do when you are done?

Oh that's cool! What kind of transmitter are you using with it?

Some no name brand. Because of that I have issues with the retracts, slats and air brakes. Channels 1-4 are fine. I think I'm gonna have to spring for a 7 channel Futuba or Spektrum.

I'd recommend it! I'm still rocking a Futaba T7CAP. If I get back in to it, I'll probably need to spring for a 2.4GHz setup.

You guys crack me up :)

Pirep on the taranus?

Taranis? Never used one. Mine is called a FlySky 9Ch 2.4 MHZ. Programmable but trying to understand English written by Chinese is confusing.

Ducted fan. Definitely don't have the cash for a turbine.

Has slats, flaps, retracts and even an air brake. Lights up also but I think I'll disable that to save on battery power.

If they are LEDs, they won't have a measurable effect on the battery pack.

When you have two airplanes just sitting in the Hagar with no interest in flying is when I asked my self what's next. I thought once I sold the shop that I would be in the air all of the time. That love of flying just never came back. I was out in Saskatoon recently. Those people have some fun looking bush planes. Could be a possibility.

My focus is the big old house in MA now. I do like a project.
