Hello !
I'm in a middle of a research
And I found a code "GCR IH", that is related with the Pilot vocabulary
Any idea about what this means?
Regards,
Emilio

The complete phrase says:
It was a drawing of the world with various lines encircling it. Below it, he had written “GCR IH, going back in time”

And another friend says:
Remember that “GCR IH” bit I remembered earlier? I could have sworn I heard one of the pilots passing by us say something very similar.

In that context "Great Circle Route" seems likely for "GCR". To fly such a route a pilot would compute an "Initial Heading", but I'm less confident about that for "IH".

Hi,

Can anyone help me to understand how to use a GCR if i have this values:
1.14000
19.60100
Congo

20.74101

Niger

35.04601
9.86500
Tunisia

44.91101
13.69100
Adriatic Sea

58.60201
11.39400
Sweden

Thanks in advance
Emilio
