I'm seeing this a lot lately, what does it mean?

It seems redundant though.
Those are in the Hangar talk section which is sort of the NA section.

Non aviation, put may still be worth reading.

some history; years ago iirc there were complaints that people were clicking on topics that had nothing in it of interest to Pilots. As the site is Pilots of America, they felt there might be a better way....and the [NA] suffix/prefix was born. I think it has helped. I understand there will be complaints with, or without, or even a third or fourth method - that's how we are.

it's to help the people who can't figure out that threads such as these aren't aviation related:

"which fuel filter is best for my lawnmower"
"anyone have a recipe for chicken soup?"
"why does it hurt when I pee?"

I can see the confusion, so, putting [NA] helps to clear that up and remove all doubt.

:dunno:

Normally aspirated

ie, non-turbocharged aircraft

Bingo. They should just rename it the "NNA" section. (Not Necessarily Aviation.)

I always say normally aspirated in my mind when I read it. I'm glad someone asked. Lol

Don't feel bad, I thought it meant "Not Available" or "Not Applicable"

The site is subdivided into North America, Central America, and South America.

;) (big wink...)
