Bro do you even lift
I don't have a recent pic but 8A6 is almost a grass strip now, with the amount of weeds growing out of the cracks.

we have one with mature trees in the middle of it now. Well, its abandoned, but there were no qualifiers given!

I would have expected the weediest strip to be in Colorado.
As a colorado resident the weediest airport I've seen is Ardmore, Ok. They had weeds three feet tall growing on the ramp.

It is. No one talks about it on a public forum though. Ya know what I mean Verne?

There's also been a tremendous increase in orders of Twinkies there too.

Black Rock landing strip at Zuni Pueblo on the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico.

Paved, barely, but I have landed there and have weeds hanging off both wings. Also get good practice at carrier landings.

Non-paved, most off airport landings ended up with green stains on the prop.

I can vouch for that. That's kind of a sad airport. There just isn't much business out there anymore. It's too far from town, and Ardmore Executive is way more convenient for Ardmorites. I'm extremely surprised they still have a tower there, but they still get some jet and turboprop traffic. I think there is still some kind of jet service shop on the field that accounts for most of the traffic. It has come a long way (downhill) from the bustling Army bomber training facility it started it's life as, like so many others.

For me, Harvey Young 1H6 in Tulsa is probably the weediest. I hear someone has bought the field and plans to renovate. That would be awesome if true.

DenverPilot lives out in the smokier portion to. Outside of the city.

Judging by the police reports, the folks out here are mostly growing the stuff to sell illegally (as in without taxes on it) back to the tourists and perennially high in the city.

The illegal growers keep the hut-huts on the rural SWAT teams busy and in Federal grant money so they can drive shiny new vehicles newer than anything any of the citizens own out here. Ha. It makes spotting a cop car pretty easy, though.

(It's hilarious thinking a brand new Charger out here makes for a good "undercover" cop car. LOL.)

Government still doesn't like competition when it comes to vice taxes. Go figure. They like posting their "catches" on social media these days, when they "take drugs off the streets" ... ummm, wait... those drugs are legal on the streets if it was grown in a nice government approved and inspected warehouse... and they paid their taxes on it... so you're saving all of us from exactly what again there, PD? Hahaha.

Oh no. THIS pot was grown in a rural barn! It's dangerous! Hide the kiddies eyes, and grab some flash bangs, lets go do some no-knockin raids boys! Freaking hut-huts. Have to protect their revenue stream.

52F (@SixPapaCharlie's new home) used to be a contender for this dubious honor. But they're repaving it so it should be very nice soon.

If we have the meet up in Alybama I can provide transportation.

Prob worse...man I worry about my nosewheel hitting a pothole everytime I go in there...the short walk to ice cream makes it worth it tho

I was at the grove yesterday, looked like they mowed the runway.

How was the cookout?

It was good, lots of food. The band played about 4 notes then the power went out. Flysince9 showed up with his girl, we got him seated in a mooney (to test it out) and lots of planes flying first timers. Oh, and one nordo fktard basically ruining it for everyone. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate nordo? Just jumping in between people, forcing go arounds, back taxiing with people on final.... oh plus one guy driving his jeep across the runway while someone was taking off. Other than those two clowns it was a big success.

Sounds like a good time. I had planned to go to the fly-in at Miller's Airpark yesterday but ended up going to Latta Plantation with wife and dog and then doing some work around the house. But next weekend, I hope to do some aviation.
