Was his last post on the day it was announced that the SZ was closing down? A few people made such statements, and I think some followed through with it.

It's interesting how, almost without fail, those few who I have blocked, are the ones that leave or get banned. Thus, I seldom notice their departure.

I guess I'm a pretty good judge of character...or lack thereof as the case may be.

OTOH, I haven't blocked EdFred or Clark yet so maybe not.

But it's amazing how that works.

IIRC, Bart has excused himself from several aviation boards over the past few years. Perhaps it's one of those "my work here is done" things.

To set another record straight, I have never BBQ'd or grilled while wearing argyle socks.

But this thread is about Bart. (He wasn't dismissed for argyle socks was he?)

I remember him from the Piper Owner Society board (which totally went to hell) and then he formed the piperforum.com board in retaliation. I believe he subsequently sold it, which prompted him to come over here.

I understand how that would hurt. Have you considered using a smoker on the chicken rather than "doing" it?

POS was just that, a POS. It started free and then went to optional membership then went to membership only (IIRC).
