US tank killer aircraft for sale

The person that wrote the article got himself a little bit too pumped up. The Bronco was not a heavy ground support aircraft, and I doubt one ever killed a tank. This description of its principal attributes and use in Vietnam is much more accurate than the shill's pronouncements.

The Bronco performed observation, forward air control, helicopter escort, armed reconnaissance, utility light air transport and limited ground attack. The Bronco has also performed aerial radiological reconnaissance, tactical air observation, artillery and naval gunfire spotting, airborne control of tactical air support operations and front-line, low-level aerial photography.
 
Yeah, not really a "tank killer" by design or by any means. As 3393 said, it was a FAC(A) platform and aerial spotter. Cool bird though, without a doubt, and of course with a significant A/G purpose.

You'd think the "OV" designation would be a big clue.

They can smell fear!

And the OV-10 probably took out some armor plated rick shaws. Kinda like a tank. A little bit.

There's another book "Cleared Hot" written by a Marine pilot that did two tours in Vietnam, one as a Huey pilot, the second as CO of a OV-10 squadron.
